When determining wether to use our Homeowner Kit or Small Area Touch-Up Kit, depends on the size of the surface you're working on. Large panels such as hoods and fridges, go with the Homeowner Kit (you'll want the larger pads) small areas such as trim and detail work, go with the Small Area Touch-Up Kit. **Q: Will this work on a stainless steel dishwasher door**
A: Scratch-B-Gone works on all non-coated stainless steel, so yes. However, the size of a dishwasher door is a large surface area and we recommend using the Scratch-B-Gone "Homeowner Kit" for that, not the "Small Area Touch-Up Kit." The Homeowner Kit has larger pads which help to blend in with the surrounding stainless steel. The Small Area Touch-Up Kit is used for trim and smaller surface areas. Every kit has the Tru-Metal test strip to determine if you're working on a non-coated surface, which is very important. Thanks for the question!
