The cover slips right over the face of my 40mm Apple Watch 4 and has stayed solid, in place with no issues.CAVEAT: I did the research on this, and ALL protective covers like this will cause some loss of functionality on your Apple watch. I weighed the pros and cons of having a protective case, and my preference is to have a pristine watch face and casing.I highly recommend this protective case for your 40mm Apple Watch 4, if you want peace of mind; and a pristine watch face and casing. I've attached a photo: the protective cover is barely noticeable on the watch.
