Review: STOP CRYING ABOUT THE 1200 MG LABEL YOU BIG BABIES! - The bottom line is that this IS an EFFECTIVE product. If you didn't read the label entirely (which is copied online) it is your own fault. The back label is very clear about the mg's per DOSAGE not CAPSULE. Anyone who only reads the front label and disregards the actual dosage data on a bottle is lazy. Additionally it is a really effective alternative to Lipitor and other statins. I began taking it because I was borderline high on my cholesterol. My total cholesterol was 262. My LDL was 162. I took 4 capsules daily - 2 in the morning and two at night. My total cholesterol dropped 12 points in 30 days. THEN, a physician suggested a TRICK that only a physician would know. It seems that for red yeast rice to work effectively - the molecules must bind themselves to a FAT MOLECULE as a transport vehicle through your system. I'm on a low (almost no fat) fat diet and was on the diet for months before trying the product. So he suggested combining my Red yeast Rice dosage with a 2000 mg dosage of Fish Oil which would likely benefit me simply because it is fish oil. The idea here is that fish oil contains beneficial Omega 3 FATTY ACIDS which is a FAT and it would allow the Red Yeast rice a FAT molecule to bind itself too. I tried it and WOW!!! 30 days later my numbers had dropped by an additional 30 points. There are other brands that are equally or more effective. But this one is a good and affordable product.

This stuff has really really helped keep it in check while he works on additional ways to manage his health and his stress. This supplement is a great addition to the diet of anyone with high blood pressure who is looking to be more healthy and careful. These capsules are easy to swallow and aren't stinky or gross. I can definitely recommend! And yes, I paid full price. :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No Side Effects, Great Results!

I have genetically high cholesterol and don't always eat the way I should. Exercise is difficult for me because of some physical disabilities. I am deathly allergic to statin drugs but had to find something that would drastically lower my extremely high cholesterol. I heard that Red Yeast Rice is the main ingredient used in statin drugs, just without the drug part. I tried Sundown's Red Yeast Rice first and it worked! Tried another brand one time and it gave me stomach pain. Now I will only buy Sundown's Red Yeast Rice and I'm so happy that I can get it in the 240-capsule size bottle. My cholesterol is now in the normal range. I highly recommend this product!
