Review: Super handy and very useful on my Taylor guitar but Not accurately calibrated - While tuning using this tuner in tandem with the inbuilt tuner in logic pro x connected via Scarlett audio interface, I noticed that some strings were flatter than the desired frequency when I used this tuner, but got a more accurate pitch, both on the DAW and my ears when I retuned the guitar using the onboard tuner on my logic pro x.
Review: Long term review. - Great while it works. Stopped working in 6 months. This is probably the most convenient and easy to use tuner that I have ever used. (And I have 6 guitars and about 10 different tuners in different kit bags.) It's form factor is so great that it is there when you need it, while not coming in the way when you dont. In fact it is so out of the way that you dont realise its there until you need it. Cant complain about accuracy. It's great. But within 6 months it suddenly stopped working. Then i ordered another unit. Same issue out of the box. Here's what happens to it. It blinks and blinks on turning on and doesn't start. LED display keeps blinking. As of now, I have tried 3 of the same model units and it all has the same issue. Do not buy this. Instead get the clip on version from the same company. I have one since a year and it works all the same still.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this chromatic?  Can I set the tuner to other than 440?**
A: Yes, chromatic.  Calibration range from 410-480 Hz.

**Q: Is it auto calibration for each string?**
A: I take it you're asking whether it auto-detects the pitch for each string, rather than the user having manually to select it for each string.  Yes!  It's really simple to use.

**Q: Is it safe to leave in a guitar with nitrocellulose finish?**
A: I have had it in my Taylor for 10 months and just removed it to move it to another guitar.  No issues with it affecting the finish.  
As with most anything that can attach to your guitar.  Know what finish was used on it, guitars with nitro-cellulose finishes may show damage from the rubber pad on this tuner.  I don't leave anything physically attached to my Martin.

**Q: what are the dimensions of this tuner? I need to check if it can fit with the sound board bracing of my Aoud before buying it. Thanks**
A: This hits the bracing in one of my guitars. But this tuner is so tiny, just move it along the sound hole until you find a better fit. On a flat top guitar, this'll work wherever you place it around the rim of the sound hole. Your sound hole is 360 degrees. Just find a spot where it doesn't hit any bracing and you have a good line-of-sight to the display.

I use a martin guitar & it doesnt have a tuner. Usually expensive guitars like Martin/taylor don't have one. I was about to buy a clip tuner for Rs 250, but thought to keep it classy & nano. I spent 6 times more ie Rs 1800 & what did i get? *The thick strings D,A & E when plucked, the tuner doesn't respond. It takes a lot of time to recognize the voice of the string & is not even Active for Good stage shows. Waste product. I even replaced it (As there was no return option,i would lobe to return it) SORRY D'ADaRio, The product is over priced with no utility.
