The book is very outdated, does not really give a lot of good information. I was looking for a book that will get into the settings of the welder, not items that was already known. It does however explain differences about the AC DC voltage and of the different kind of welding to a certain extent for new welders. it does give information about welding rods, just leaves out a lot of information that should be in the book.
