During the second world war the first night raid destroyed the original 1932 factory and the business moved to its present location in Cricklewood, London. The finish is lovely when dry and it coats really well. Bit of a strange smell to it. Always needs a really good stir as it separates when not in use. The only issue I had was the lid, it was really ‘bendy’ metal so once taken off and put back a few times it became very warped and I was never able to get a good seal. Had to tape the heck out of the tin every time I finished using it.
