The heavy nylon mesh cover on our pergola has Velcro straps that wrap to the corner posts to hold it in place on windy days. The straps are wearing out and I used the kit to install grommets to put wire ties through. The tool does make perfect circle cuts in the fabric, and installs the grommets nice and tight. They separate the two grommet pieces by putting the smaller ones in a zip lock bag inside the larger bag that has the larger pieces.
