**Q: How do I open them to get them around the pipe?**
A: Hold one side of the clamp in your hand and hit the inside diameter of the other side with a small wrench or hammer.

**Q: how does this tighten onto the pipe? does it just loosely wrap around?**
A: Yes it loosely wraps around the pipe and then must be bolted to an existing flange or another one of those on the second pipe. Your exhaust pipe must still have a flared end for these to work because that’s what keeps them in place.

**Q: how do I get them to fit my 1 3/4 pipes that have a bolt patern of 2 1/2" and yours are 3 1/4" apart**
A: I did get longer bolts though.

**Q: Will it fit a 2001 dodge Dakota exhaust**
A: Is your exhaust pipe 1 and 3/4 inches in diameter. You have to measure, if it is yes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great on 2014 Subaru Impreza when tail pipe separated from the muffler.

Perfect fit for the pipe diameter and securely tightened the pipe back against the rusted flange. The bolts were long enough that I did not even have to cut off the old rusted parts. Just wired brushed it with a drill, used this split flange and smeared JB Weld extreme heat over the remaining holes, which were about the thickness of a quarter, taking several light applications. It's held up about 3 months so far. Even if the JB Weld fails, these flanges ensure the pipe connection is rock solid stable.
