Maybe some remotes are weak, but I have two and no issues at all. Secondly, I am a big fan of keeping things simple. That being said, this is the most simple universal remote I’ve ever set up! Push one button set, push another button, wait 20 seconds and you’re done! My only complaint, as another review had stated is: I wish it had about 4 more “dummy” buttons to be discretionary; Instead, I simply repurposed a few lesser used buttons, namely the mute and select buttons. We got it for the pre-programmed volume control feature, which works great with our LG tv and Vizio sound bar. Would be a 5 star review for sure if it weren't for the button click. Every button on the remote makes an audible "click" when it is pushed, and I find that to be annoying. Other than that, it is exactly as advertised and is great. I'd give it 4.9 if I could. And while I'm not knovking it down for not having it, because I knew it didn't when I bought it ....
