The mounting knuckles have a bit of lash, but are easily positioned (you have to lift them further than you think is required to get to a point the adjustment takes place, and when they fall back into position, the new adjustment is apparent). The way the mounts hang on the arms makes it really quick and easy to remove them, with just a thumb latch, no tools. This makes the whole installation easy to move from office to office. Takes a bit of muscle to tighten the mounts, but not excessive. We have more than a dozen of these around our complex. Review: this one didn't have any but still a great stand.
