The knit material is strong and the lining makes them very sturdy. However, there were a few surprises. One is that the off white color is really more beige in person. I don't mind it, but just be aware of that. The other thing is that the toes of the stockings are a bit shorter and less shapely than I would like, so it looks a little disproportionate.
