Ruined my GoPro
I have a GoPro mounted in my truck window and it pretty much stays there all the time. My original GoPro battery was wearing out so I took the cheap route and got these batteries to replace it. Admittedly, it gets HOT in Texas, but the GoPro and the original battery never failed. After trying one of these new batteries, I got into the truck after work one hot day, and the GoPro screen was cracked and bulging out of the GoPro. I went home and had to get a knife to pry the Smatree battery out of the GoPro. It was swollen and had expanded to break the case and break the screen. it had also leaked all over the inside of the GPro case. This was a very expensive lesson. From now on, I only get original equipment batteries.

Horrible! Swelled and couldn't get out of camera!
These POS batteries nearly cost me my GoPro! The day after the arrived, I was doing a "video day" in my shop.... after the second time charged, and then used, one swelled to the point that I tore off the "tab" trying to get it out....and has to end up gouging the plastic casing, and pulling it out with needle nosed pliers! Second batter did the same thing, except this time even after letting it cool down inside the camera, after tearing off the "pull tab", and trying the needle nosed pliers....the battery was still so swollen that I was afraid it would destroy my GoPro! I've used these batteries in the past, and had decent luck with them. I don't know if they've cheapened them since, but when you consider these things could destroy a $300+ camera.... not no....but HELL NO!!

I have 8. Just buy them.
I have a trusty Hero 4 that's been with me since they first came onto the market. At this point it's been literally to every continent with me. If you own a GoPro you know they're hardier than a cockroach but their batteries just suck. If I'm lucky I'll get 45 minutes out of a charge. When I first got my Hero 4 I was a total sucker and bought 2 GoPro batteries as backups for mucho $$$. Then I discovered Smatree and have since amassed a collection of 8 as well as 2 x3 chargers. This means that at any given moment I can charge 6 batteries at the same time using 2 USB cables, In all the time I've been using these batteries I've never had a problem nor experienced less battery life than the GoPro branded ones. They're equal in quality and longevity for a fraction of the price. It's a no brainer, trust me. I have 8.

Lasted me 2 years
I bought these in 2016 and they lasted me until 2018 until they really started to give me problems. They all are very expanded now and don't last long at all but for the first year they were great and the price is so good.

Excellent battery
I have used these batteries for almost two years now. I use my GoPro on my bike every ride and I average 5 rides per week with the average ride being 33 miles. So the batteries get a lot of use. After about 1 1/2 years they were noticeably weaker and I just replaced them. But they outlasted the genuine GoPro battery which began to swell up and wouldn't fit in the camera any more. So at a fraction of the price, these are an excellent deal.

Power up with these!
I had previously ordered two of these batteries that came with a triple charger. I was so pleased with the performance of these batteries in my Go Pro Hero4 Silver that I ordered two more. And ordering them with the Prime advantage just can't be beat! Free shipping and I got them in less than two days.Smatree produces some very nice quality products at a great price! I am glad I discovered their line of products as I will be buying more from them. I highly recommend these batteries.

Good value and performance
I have four of these batteries. They all give me about 90-plus minutes of recording time (unless wifi is on, which shortens them up considerably as it does the GoPro OEM battery). The only drawback I've seen is the GoPro phone app doesn't work right when using these batteries. For my use, this is not a big deal and they still perform well for the price. But if you have to use the smartphone app as a remote, be advised that you may need to stick to GoPro original batteries.

A good alternative to OEM batteries
The batteries are going strong so far and last longer then some of the other 3rd party batteries I bought for my Gopro. So far not disappointed. Just need to see how long these cells last as I have been running the batteries pretty hard capturing video at 4k makes the camera pretty hot. So the batteries only last up to 30min of continuous video capture.
