For example, trying to play the device like a piano will sometimes cause notes to sound at 100% velocity even when gently pressed. It is probably more successful as a pressure sensitive XY pad; I do know that the original promise that it would be useable by graphic artists also hasn't really panned out, with a lot of them indicating disappointment at the responsiveness of the device.Of course currently Sensel are 'out of stock' and have been now for several months. This doesn't exactly inspire confidence either. At any rate, it's an interesting device and the hardware is, as I said, quite well made.
