The only way the light up feature works is if we plug the USB into a portable cell phone chargers because that section of the cord is really short. Even if you are a PC gamer, it's not long enough on its own. To us, that feature is a waste. If your controller has USB option, then it's cool.Overall, decent headset for the money.
