It has a nice sturdy feel to it because of the full tang, so I wouldn’t expect it to snap in half that easily if put to serious use. Handle feels very ergonomic. The sheath retention is excellent; however, deployment is not as easy as some other knives. You can pull it straight out but you have to put a lot of force on it to do it that way. A better way is too put your thumb on the sheath and your other fingers on the handle and click it back toward your body, then pull it out. The blade is short but that’s okay as this kind of knife is a last ditch self defense tool anyway. Not very sharp out of the box but that’s an easy fix. This would make a great little companion when fishing as well. I liked it so much I gave it to my friend, who also loved it.
