Review: Universal Remote Now Fully In Control - If you don't use voice control (I don't) then this is perfect for allowing Firestick control via infra-red. My universal remote is now programmed and works perfectly and the original firestick bluetooth remote is in the drawer.
Review: It works - Not much to say, needed it to connect to Fire Cube with Inteset remote. It does the job, probably could be cheaper given what it is.

**Q: whats the secret for getting "back" button to work in apps like hulu on Fire TV box?**
A: Never tried with Hulu app, but the BBC America app doesn't respond to "back" via USB when video is playing or paused even though it works fine navigating their menus. I assume it's a poorly written app, since it other apps I use "back" works fine. I use a universal programmable remote with commands learned from a real Xbox 360 remote -- the back command learned from the Xbox "B" key.

**Q: Does this product include the "y cable" you need to create a connection to the usb port for the fire tv stick?**
A: you will need to buy an usb hub to connect to your fire stick in order to connect the ir remote

**Q: How to i change the functions of the buttons when having a firestick set up as a xbox 360 with the harmoney one remote?**
A: works like the fire stick remote. menu is for home button, arrow down and up are scrolling up and down, side arrows are for side by side moves

**Q: 21 dollars and you don't provide the ir codes for a fire tv stick??**
A: Fire TV requires the Y cable in addition to the IReTV IR Receiver. Code is 02049

Works with Amazon Firestick and an XBox 360 multimedia controller, though subsequently I programmed a universal controller to mimic the XBox 360 remote plus volume control and other features of the TV remote.
