It is a little bright but it grows on you. I mind less with air hoses since they are in a garage or shop whereas the garden hoses are outside and rather visible. I would love to see Flexilla offer additional colors that would blend in better with the outdoor environment. I know that bright green is a brand identity play but as a loyal Flexilla customer I don't see it as a benefit in my garden or landscape as it draws too much attention to itself and not in a good way. My experience with the rubber used in garden hoses and my solar water heater is that at residential pressures (50-70 psi after regulation), you are running a blowout risk once you get into the 150F range. Manufacturer was willing to replace it for free after I sent pictures, but they also wanted me to cut it up, and send pictures. I couldn't get myself to cut up a $70 dollar hose, so I will keep using it with defect, until it gets worse.
