By the time you have worked it all out and decided on where all the PIR’s and sensors should go to avoid the wrath of your wife, then plucked up the courage to climb the ladder for the outside box, it’s a day’s work! I find some PIRs are more sensitive than others, which I haven’t yet been able to sort. However, system tests have shown it works well and the smart phone app (mine is Apple) is reasonable. The instructions are not very detailed so a bit of trial and error, and the occasional YouTube search was required. The door sensors appear to only work on flat edge frames but mine are bevelled and still work fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sr330 smart home alarm *by L***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 6, 2018* Great alarm and easy to fit! Took around an hour including fitting the siren. The app is great for settings and control but I'm glad I added two key fobs as there not included in the sr330 package . The key fobs are Much more convenient than opening app when coming up the driveway! The camera PIR sensor works ok but picture could be better. The PIR camera needed placing with more care compared to the standard sensors and took a bit of practice to get it to activate alarm and send pictures without waiting five minutes to receive them. since testing 9 times in a row the average picture sending time is now 50 seconds. Great alarm and after a bit of fiddling it works perfect.I also bought a extra room sensor , door sensor . And extra fobs and all items linked with the system very easily ### ⭐⭐⭐ customer service not helpful *by M***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 5, 2019* After finding a burglar in our house which gave us such a huge fright we decided to buy a Burglar alarm system we researched the internet for the best sytems andwere subsequently visited by most of the major companies who didnt really care about what we purchased, they just wanted to sign us up to a long term contract to monitor our property. We researched again for DIY burglar alarms & watched various Youtube videos and settled on this Yale burglar alarm system. It was a little difficult to set up the monitor with each alarm but we telephoned the Sage Helpdesk, they talked us throughthe setup & within 10 minutes we were up & running. Full marks to he help desk. However we have had issues with the PIR camera battery which we have just exchanged for the 2nd time.On tise 2nd occasion we were replacing the battery when a small square of plastic which was soldered to the inside of the camera case broke off, We hadntt remove the camera from its place on the wall in order to change the battery therefore it should have been a simple matter to exchange. but it wasnt. Sage customer services are most unhelpful & simply quote we will just have to purchase a another camera, I am not happy to have to replace a camera which has not lasted 8 months at a cost of between £120 & £150.
