This adorable, butterfly-wing, dog-costume fit my BELGIAN MALINOIS perfectly!This costume did not bother my dog at all because he is used to wearing a dog harness. It's a simple costume that is easy to put on. Seriously simple + seriously adorable.My dog *didn't* care for the somewhat flimsy, headband antenna so I took it off. It didn't matter as he looked *SO ADORABLE* with the butterfly wings alone...especially since he has all black fur. I love that my dog was unbothered by the wings of this cute costume!The butterfly wings are spongey, not flimsy. The wings are light-weight. They flounced around quite a bit as he walked around which was very cute. I didn't keep the costume on him long as I wasn't sure if it would rub him and irritate his skin, (which it didn't! All is well!) but the entire time my dog wore the costume he was very happy. It didn't bother him in the slightest and I got the most cute Halloween dog pics ever. :) 10/10I would highly recommend this dog costume for a dog near you! If you love belly laughs and your dog doesn't mind a harness, there's *no* reason *not* to buy this costume. :)

Fits great on my 13 pound mini poodle. Straps go right over the front legs. She acted like she couldn’t walk. 🤣 Wings are soft and sturdy (feels like a layer of foam inside). My pup doesn’t really like clothes, so prior costumes have not gone well. This will work great!

The adorable photos of my dog say it all. This costume is simple and adorable. For the affordable price, this sweet (Monarch) butterfly costume/set is well worth it. I am quite happy with my purchase but I also have a few notes to help future buyers. The costume comes as a two-piece set; wings (that attach to your pet with two elastic straps that go around/under their front legs), and a small headpiece with pipe-cleaner antennae (and another little elastic strap that goes under their chin to keep it in place). The size I ordered was based off the listed measurements and it fits my pup great.Quality can be a mixed bag on Amazon, and overall this set is pretty great—the wings are padded (with lightweight foam interiors) so they have some body/rigidity without being heavy. (They bounce up and down when my dog trots and it's so cute.) The wing colors/design are vibrant and the design is on both sides of the wings—I loved that detail. The wings are attached to a circular piece of black velvet, which rests on your pet's back/shoulders. The headpiece that the antennae are attached to is also made of black velvet. The stitching is secure and the overall quality was better than expected.The wings are adorable, with one glaring exception (which I didn't take a picture of but should have)—there is white fabric along the edges of the circular body piece (the velvet portion that the wings attach to). For some reason, white fabric was used to seal the edges instead of black fabric to match the black velvet—it's a small but unsightly detail that cheapens the piece. (And even more oddly, the headpiece portion did not have this issue; the fabric used to seal its edges was black as you'd expect/hope.) As a quick fix, I painted the white edges with black acrylic paint so that it matched the rest of the set. This was an easy fix for the average crafty person, but admittedly I would have preferred not to have done it at all.Hopefully this small detail is something that will be remedied in the future; I loved everything else about this sweet set and I DO recommend it, despite that flaw. Shipping was fast and the set came well-wrapped in its own packing.

It’s probably the prefect costume for a dog who doesn’t really like costumes and normally wears a harness. It’s doesn’t seem to be too uncomfortable for her she never tried to take it off.

First off we do have a really cute dog to begin with, but we got so many “ oohs and aahs” and “cuuute” and “love her wings” compliments when walking around a neighborhood Halloween block party with these wings. Our pup doesn’t really tolerate most costumes but she didn’t mind these at all. We think it’s bc they fit around her back /chest just like her harness does. Solid product would definitely recommend

I ordered the wrong size. That’s not at the fault of the seller or the maker of this item, though. I just didn’t realize I selected the large size when what I needed was a small. In any case, the quality is wonderful. It is made beautifully, just know that there’s silver trim along the back piece where the wings are attached. I imagine maybe it’s for reflective purposes so I don’t mind it but I thought I’d mention it since you don’t see that in the photos. The wings are plush and the design of them is great because they do stick up well and sit nicely. The colors are bright and vibrant so they’re super pretty. Excited to get these in the right size.

Cute as can be, but to small for a German Shepherd. :( The wife tried. LOL

This Halloween I wanted to get something quick and lightweight and not put anything heavy and hot on my baby since I live in Cali and it was hot this Halloween for some reason. These butterfly wings worked great! He was bouncing around as if it was nothing and he stayed cool and everywhere we went someone commented on how adorable he looked, so I am very happy with these wings and will definitely be using them again soon not just for Halloween.
