## Description

The Steinhauser Micro Pocket Spincast Combo is the ultimate tangle free travel rod for those spontaneous fishing trips. The fiberglass rod extends to 30” and can be retracted to 18” to make storage easy, while the inline feed prevents the line from tangling. This Micro Pocket Combo can virtually be stored anywhere and is even perfect to use on your kayak or canoe.

Review: Great for use as a cat toy, not so sure about actual fishing with this. - My cat sitter recommended this to play with my cats--it's way better than the little short-string fishing poles you get for about as much money at a "big box" or pet store. Since it's collapsible I can keep it nearby and it keeps them entertained longer than the pet store poles since they can run all the way across the room to where I cast their "worm" or "fish." The line seems way too thin to catch an actual fish, however unless it's between a minnow and a perch. It lasted a long time before popping even though one of my two cats likes to chew on the line. It took me a while to re-thread it because the weight kept getting stuck between the sections of the pole and wouldn't fall all the way down.
Review: Good little rod. - Bought for my daughter, 8. Great for her as the line does not get tangled around the pole. I have started using it for shore fishing with a lot of overhang from trees. Short pole allows for getting to places a longer pole would get hung up in. I would recommend adding a large needle and thread to your tackle. If the line breaks and comes out of the pole, it is very difficult to re-thread through the pole. If you have a large sewing needle and thread it's much easier to get the line through the pole and start fishing again. The reel is pretty cheap. I think I'll be replacing it fairly soon.
