There are some import junk options, but this is not one of them. It's pricey, there's no denying that, but you get a lot for your money with this tool. The weld quality is good, the blade is sharp, strong and well attached to the handle. You won't break this tool using it in the yard, and properly cared for, it should last a lifetime. You can feel the quality in the heft and balance of this tool when you pick it up, and especially when you put it into the ground and use. All around, superbly crafted (made in England!) and something you will be proud to have in your weeding arsenal. I came looking for some serious help after spending an hour weeding and had about ten times that to go! I looked at the other hoes in this category and thought this one looked best to my eye...it is forged and should last much longer than you!I was not disappointed when it arrived (2- day prime). This is a game changer. If you don't like this hoe, I respectfully suggest that you are doing something terribly wrong. I was practically whistling by the time I finished, it was that easy. The blade is sharp and the heft of the blade on that nice handle allows it to move effortlessly through the weeds.
