We have a 1/2” tee on the tank and a 1/2” line coming out of the trailer. This regulator with a pair of 1/2” NPT to flare male fittings and a 1/2” gas line let us bypass the onboard 3/8” switching regulator going to a pair of 20lb propane tanks, keeping the portable tanks full for when we travel while still ensuring the pressure going into the trailer is at the correct 11-12” wc level while at camp.
