Charming Melodie ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bleed test is done , and passed with flying colors *by K***E on May 26, 2019* I received the embroidery kit quickly , faster than I expected . The kit contains a range of colors , all neatly winded on a card . I measured one of them : 9 and a half meters . The normal DMC embroidery that I usually buy in the shop is 8 meters . I then did the ' bleeding ' test : I cooked some clean water and dropped a length of red floss in it . I let it boil a bit , then put it on a clean white cloth . After it was dry I lifted it : no bleeding on the cloth . I still need to do the washing machine test ,( with some embroidery on white cloth ) but for now I'm over the moon with the result . Value for money ? Absolutely . A hundred colors for the price of six from the shop : that is good value in my book . Of course, you can't choose your colors . Some are not in the box for the project I have in mind . I wonder if there are ' themed ' boxes to be had , like all kinds of green with some yellow , white and back . Or all blues and so on . I would definitely buy those . There are also beads and ribbons in the box , but I don't need those for this project , maybe I'll be glad of those later . It comes with all of the thread wound on the bobbins which is so helpful, and enough needles and extras that I didn't need to buy anything else besides my fabric and a hoop.
