Carmen Haverland RC4E Radiator

I just wanted a radiator for background heat. Set at 18 degrees C, and going on and off as necessary. However, setting up this radiator is ridiculously complicated, with various 'plans' which are different from weekdays to weekends and incorporating different settings for 'Comfort' or 'Economy'. Haverland refer you to their youtube installation guide but that is not of much benefit because it's too quick to follow.The installation guide is hopeless. For example, you may think that you've bought a radiator - to them it's a transmitter. And how about this for a paragraph heading: 'Modification of a parameter of a configurable plan'. Errmm?In the end I spoke to a charming young lady at Haverland and she guided me through the process. This radiator seems to be very well made and it's a shame that they have made the programming too complicated for most people's requirements.

ONE of the best electric radiators - produces heat by radiation and convection easy to set up and what a great price!If you aren't looking for a super slimline version then this is a best buy - easy to hang and up and running in 30 mins. I've bought several different radiators over the last year and if I replace any more I will buy these from a company which provides excellent service too!With the fully programmable sensitive controls allowing comfort and economy settings, I'm sure these will prove to be efficient too.

Great item, clean and tidy looking. Shame the instructions are rubbish. Fortunately my kids know Spanish or I wouldn't have a clue how to set it up.

This is the best radiator of its type that I have come across. It is very efficient although more bulky than some would like.Its main drawback is the programmer which is complicated and backed up by a very unhelpful manual. I am still not sure if I have got it right.

Great product not worried about setting it up 7 day timer set temp and away it goes. Great heat will buy another one 👍

Does not work but Amazon expect ME to parcel it up, lug it to a Post Office etc.It does not work and someone should collect it and deliver a new one.

Supplied with a continental plug, I was under the impression that it is illegal to supply electrical equipment that is not fitted with a UK plug that conforms to BS1363
