Coming from the Windy City, it gets mighty cold during the winter months and I really appreciate having sleeves as I am a big time reader. Covering with a blanket only did part of the job, whenever I have to turn a page I hated having to pull my hand/arm out to do it. This cozy item took care of that problem. But like many others, wish it was made with a double loop tie wrap so when getting up to walk around you would be able to lift the extra length (this is nice and long to cover the tootsie's) over the belt so it can be worn as a open back robe yet never having to remove it. I walk around holding it up whenever possible, but there are those few times when you have no choice but to take it off and those are the times I dread.Never heard of a slanket until I read a great review from someone that purchased the Snuggie after using a slanket for 10 yrs. The comparison he made of course led to this purchase. Beige on one side, black on the other so reversible. Soft as a babies bottom. It was extra money well spent. I wanted to purchase a couple as gifts, and thought perhaps the higher priced one was a better quality, since the descriptions were different, so I ordered two for $77 each. They are identical to the one I have! When I go back to my order on Amazon now, it even offers me the re-order price of $46. I was duped, but you don’t have to be!
