If you want a different background color fabric for this Champagne lace then you will have to contend with the background fine tulle/mesh that the embroidery is sewn onto to maintain its shape. Trying to cut it off tulle mesh would make piece lose its shape. It has a border thick thread around all of the design areas, leaves, flowers, art flaring, etc. Makes it a bit stiff and not soft as thicker and more pliable true embroidered pieces not requiring anymore background fine tulle mesh to hold shape.See photos. Also Black of same lace purchased.Not sure if I will use it on the darker T-shirt, may instead use on an offwhite purse or jean jacket.Not sure how it will hold up to laundering.
