Review: Makes great toasties - Excellent product. Safe to use and makes great toasties. Food doesn't leak out. It's nonstick and doesn't take much cleaning. I love it. Would definitely recommend.
Review: Little scuffed, but so good I don't care - After seeing a few reviews about the handles falling off, I was a little skeptical when ordering this, but it's such a neat lil device that I just had to give it a go. I don't think I've ever been so happy with a kitchen 'gadget' before. I can't stop making toasted sammiches. This thing is so easy to use and toasts perfectly evenly on both sides. If you pop it on the hob and heat it whilst prepping the sandwich, it takes no time at all to cook it once it's in there. The handles, fortunately, seem sturdy enough on mine so far, after many uses in its first week, and it's been really easy to clean, even when cheese has melted all over it. The oooonly downside is that I got the black one, and right out of the box, it was already looking a little scuffed in places with the silver metal showing through here and there, but for the price I'm not too worried about that.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: It’s made in China.

**Q: What is the non stick coating made of?**
A: Appears to be cast iron with an aluminum looking coating. I seasoned it with cooking oil and it smelled horrible while heating, and still does each time I use it. The handle is very easy to bend when heating the griddle.

**Q: Is this good to make grilled cheese sandwiches**
A: Yes, Excellent product! Put anything you want in the sandwich likw meat and cheese then toast to perfection. No complains whatsoever.

**Q: Are the cooking surfaces made of plain cast iron with no finish? Description says 'non-stick' finish. I want plain cast iron. No finish whatever.**
A: non-stick finish

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy to have in your cupboard
*by R***N on 12 February 2022*

This is a great little bit of kit to have on hand when the kids need a quick snack. No cleaning required, just whack the gas on, 2 minutes each side and its grilled to perfection. Seems sturdy but I've only used 10 times so time will tell. I butter both outside bits of bread, then stick grated cheese, chorizo & pesto on the dry sides. 90 seconds each side, then open and turn the bread 90 degrees to get a criss cross chargrill effect. Cheese + pesto + chorizo | Cheese + Ham + chutney | Chicken + Spinach + Peppers + Guacamole All lovely.
