The box took up a lot of space in my medicine cabinet and was not immediately obvious to the eye . I chose the red case to ensure it was seen promptly . The quality of the case is perfect .....very robust . It certainly.is not flimsy in any way at all and it is just the perfect size to hold the thermometer and more lens covers . I have also managed to tuck the booklet that came with the Braun in too. Im thrilled to bits with this purchase . Its just what I was looking for . This thermometer comes with a white plastic protective case, so it sits inside it. The black case will hold the white one, along with a box of 20 probes which is a tad tight.
