I work in the oilfield and it was easy to attach to my full brim hard hat. Most guys in the field use headlamps, but I couldn't find one I cared for in the last 15 years. I know these are mainly designed and targeted for firefighters BUT I really think Blackjack is missing out on a huge market not pushing these for oilfield workers more. The screws hold tight and don't back out, even on the undersized light I'm using. The only thing I had to do was put a piece of duct tape over the allen wrench to keep it from slipping out of its holder. At this point it's been through half a dozen average fires and a couple all nighters.
