The Pentek BP-420-1 bag filter is a 1 micron bag and can be used with many different chemicals and different water conditions.Polypropylene bags are compatible with a broad range of corrosive fluids including organic solvents, oils, acids, alkalis and micro-organisms. The Pentek BP-420-1 Bag Filter is constructed from a glazed polypropylene felt that is compatible with many corrosive fluids, including acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents and microorganisms. This felt, which is created by needle-punching two layers of synthetic fibers together, has a higher solids loading capability than similar mesh fabrics. The outermost surface fibers of this filter media are then glazed to forge a bond that reduces migration possibilities. Specs BAG SIZE: 4" x 18" MAX TEMP RATING: 200 degrees MICRON RATING: 1 Micron MAX FLOW : 40 GPM Semi-rigid cylindrical design is easily crushed and incinerated.

A: You cannot fit directly to the pipe. It comes with a unit, which goes inside that. water pipe can be of any size (home use)

**Q: Is it feet to be connected directly at the 1HP submersible pump's delivery outlet?**
A: No , you will need a big 20" filter bucket to install this . then you can connect that bucket with pump's outlet .
