Obvious battery deterioration over time. Ordered the replacement battery based on model # and manufacturing date. Physical replacement took 5-7 minutes (while avoiding any electrostatic issues). Initial check showed 85% charge. Recharged it to 100%, then drained it down until it to about 5 % and recharged to 100%. It now runs for many hours ( still testing capacity) with mechanical HD and CD (remember those?).
