## Description

Welcome to DCSW 3D printer store,Hope you have a great shopping experience!Any questions, feel free to contact we customer service,we will help you within 24 hrs! Glass Print bed Advantages: Glass Print bed is a universal print surface for 3D Printing. Almost all types of filament will print toglass in one way or another. Just place the Glass Print bed on your print board and clip it in place! To print with PLA or ABS , lightly spray the surface of the glass with 3d printing special solid glue, then install the Glass Print bed with glass clip. This glass has been specially ordered and modified for use in 3D Printers. If you want to make your printing platform flat enough, ideal stuff is glass sheet. Borosilicate glass is rated for higher temperatures than normal sheet glass making it a better material for use as a heated bed. After cracking a few sheets of normal glass from rapidly cooling or heating, borosilicate glass will quell your frustrations. Features: 1.Resistant to thermal shock compared to regular glass. 2.Prepare a second plate and quickly switchplates when a model finishes printing. This significantly reduces printer idle time between prints. 3.Reduces warping, however platform has to be properly leveled as is the case with any platform on a 3D printer. Note: 1.The glass can be used normally at 520 degree temperature. 2.You need to adjust the Z axis limit switch up and down when installing. 3.Apply some 3d printing solid glue on the glass surface on before printing. 4. The Glass Print Bed's thickness of 4.0mm is within the normal range.

Review: Great product! Better than stock print surface. - This glass bed has been working great for me for the last several months on my Ender 3 Pro. I clip it to the bed with binder clips to hold it in place and use unscented aquanet hairspray for adhesion and have had minimal issues removing prints. I used calipers to measure the thickness of the glass and physically raised the z-stop switch to make sure I had the right amount of clearance to accommodate it on the bed. It heats up well and appears to distribute the heat evenly. I had some issues at first with warping, but solved the problem with a thicker application of aquanet and a slightly higher bed temp. If using additional products like hairspray, be sure to clean the glass and apply a fresh coat before every print. I have tried to make the hairspray last through more than one print, and it just works better to start with a clean surface. I have been printing with PLA and PETG. I know that printing PETG with a glass bed can be tricky because you run the risk of it fusing with the glass and destroying the print and the glass, but I have used aquanet with every print and only had issues removing one item - it was a large drink coaster with a thick flat bottom and I didn't use enough spray. After it cooled, I was able to remove it with some effort. My longest PETG print was about 22 hours and it popped right off the glass with a gentle tug after it cooled off. Even if I do break the glass at some point, it's been working well enough so far that I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again. I've had far more success with this than the magnetic build surface that came with my Ender 3 Pro.
Review: Glass bed works really well with Elmer's glue stick - There's not a lot to write here. Glass is flat, not warped like the metal beds of most printers, so there are no low or high spots. I have been using this glass plate with the large purple Elmer's glue stick for a couple months. The prints stay attached to the bed and don't warp, and are pretty easy to remove. The glue removes easily with water, and the plate is ready to go again in a minute or two. I tried a few different build surfaces, most worked well for small PLA prints, but larger prints warped and separated from the build surface. I gave up on using build surfaces for PETG, as the prints would bond so well that I destroyed the build surface trying to get the print off. I am happy with the simple glass plate and glue stick. I find that it works very well, is relatively trouble-free and economical.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glass bed works really well with Elmer's glue stick

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My printing success rate went up!
*by T***Y on June 13, 2020*

I am using this on an Ender 3 Pro (with the magnetic removable bed cover). I never really had issues with bed adhesion on prints with a larger surface area. However, when printing smaller objects I consistently had issues with the filament sticking on a certain part of my bed because of what I suspect is a warped bed. I decided to try one of these glass beds instead. I removed the magnetic part and then used binder clips to attach this glass. Then re-level the printer. My success rate went up immediately. It got even better once I started using the purple Elmers glue. I haven't had a print fail in 1-2 months from adhesion issues. Sometimes it can be tough to get the print to come off the bed. The best solution I have found is to remove the glass and put it (and the print) in the freezer. After about 20 minutes in the freezer the print should come right off. It might even just fall off so be careful. I clean it after every 4-5 prints just to remove the gunk. Just run it under the faucet and rub the glue with your fingers until it is gone. Once the water hits it. it will turn purple again so you can see where you've cleaned and where you haven't. Hopefully some new Ender 3 users find this helpful.
