You can apply it, wait for it to set & then apply a second layer. I always top it off w/ a light dusting of powder applied w/ a soft brush. It may work on beard area skin, but don't think it will cover or conceal actual beard/hair. I used it recently to cover a bruise on my face & it did a good job when layered & topped off w/powder. **Q: I'm not sure what color do you think you could help me with this** A: Hi, It's hard to say since I don't know what your complexion is like. You should try to match it up with your complexion as best you can. I'm very fair so I use 01, which I think is the lightest, if that helps any. If you use it under the eyes, a lighter color works better b/c you're trying to lighten up the area. Maybe contact the Cargo co. and see if they can suggest a color. Hope that helps. **Q: Is this foundation good for combination skin?** A: My skin tends to be dry but I do have any oily T-Zone & it works GREAT in that area. I don't use a 'foundation' bc my skin color changes so much & I don't like to cover my skin completely. This is a perfect balance of concealer & foundation. **Q: Regarding color match replacement... my empty tube reads "08 02" in the color dot, what is the corresponding color to purchase here?** A: I don't know what the "08" could mean. I've been using this product for years and have never seen two sets of numbers in the color dot. Mine reads "01" which is the color I always order. My guess would be that "02" is your color, but that's just a guess. Maybe you would want to contact the Cargo company and ask them? This concealer is a find. I am a pretty fair redhead but not porcelain, and I usually have the closest match with the second lightest concealer or foundation in most lines I've tried. This one is consistent with that trend. It has a neutral natural tone, maybe slightly warm which works well for me, and the #2 which I chose was good both for under eye circles and other spots when needed. I purchased it mostly for under the eye and it's not irritating, tacky or too dry. It's a nice smooth balance and is my perfect color match. (Before this I was using Giorgio Armani's Face Fabric as an under eye concealer in #2 and they discontinued it.) I love that it has no noticeable fragrance as well. I will be ordering another for my travel bag. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2015* This is by far the best concealer I have ever tried, after exhausting drugstore and low-end brands. Unfortunately I am no longer able to find it very easily in stores (Macys, Nordstrom, Sephora all no longer sell it) and Amazon is pretty much the only place I can find it. I get '02' shade, and I am very pale (Julianne Moore coloring, exactly). The consistency is thin, but not watery. I use it for undereye circles mostly, but it works very well all-over or for specific red spots. Just pat with your ring or pinky finger gently and it melts into your skin. No shimmer hidden in this whatsoever, but it has a brightening effect. Looks so natural, I can barely tell it's there with a mirror held close in direct sunlight. Love the packaging, as it allows you to squeeze the remaining product out for the wand to pick up when it gets low. I use with Urban Decay all-nighter spray and it lasts 12+ hours (otherwise you would need to touch up mid-day). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Concealer and Foundation base too! *by O***Z on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2011* I've used this product for about 3 years now. They use to sell at Sephora and much to my dismay they took it off their shelves. Since this is a lightweight product that does not give you the chalky eye look I had to venture out to find it again.
