I watered mine every day, and kept them under a cling-film wrap to keep the moisture in. Some germinated early and died off, and some didn't germinate at all, but out of all the seeds, I've now finally got a few baby cactuses that seem to be growing strong. If you want a sure-thing, just buy a grown cactus, but if you want the satisfaction of growing your own, I'd recommend this seed kit for sure. Review: We’ve had success with this! - Bought this for my husband as he seems to be going thru a phase of wanting cactus and doing terrariums etc so I thought he would enjoy growing his own! Within 2 days we had 2 cactus growing! Be patient with the others as we had a different variety start growing about 4 weeks after! Not all the seeds have germinated but it’s been fun doing this! Still holding on just Incase others eventually germinate as I know from other reviews that over a month later some started to show! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Brand | Sow Lush | | Colour | Red | | Expected blooming period | Year Round | | Indoor/Outdoor usage | Indoor | | Material feature | Natural | | Special feature | Natural | ## Product Details - **Plant or animal product type:** Cacti - **Indoor/Outdoor usage:** Indoor - **Brand:** Sow Lush - **Material feature:** Natural - **Colour:** Red - **Special feature:** Natural - **Expected blooming period:** Year Round - **Item weight:** 450 Grams - **Unit count:** 1 count - **Expected planting period:** year round ## Images ![Mighty Spiky Cactus Gift Seed Kit. Within 2 days we had 2 cactus growing! Be patient with the others as we had a different variety start growing about 4 weeks after! Not all the seeds have germinated but it’s been fun doing this! Packaging is a box with a plastic wrap around it (good if your trying to be as eco friendly as possible). You get lots of seeds, would have had 12 cups if my dog didn’t eat one lol. I think this would be a very good starter. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/91486251-mighty-spiky-cactus-gift-seed-kit-easy-to-grow-5](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/91486251-mighty-spiky-cactus-gift-seed-kit-easy-to-grow-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
