This bit works perfectly and at the end of the day is probably the most economical to use. The inserts are not expensive and easy to change so you are always ready to go. No more sending bits out to get resharpened every time you need to make a piece of wood flat!!! The inserts last a long time too. We have a lot of minerals in the wood here and blades/bits don't seem to last as long as they could, but the carbide inserts work great. I flattened 8 large slabs on both sides before I moved them once!!! Don't try to take too much and don't try to go too fast. Also, take care not to over tighten the inserts.
