Have you thought about muslin (reusable cheesecloth)? **Q: I see only for baking, but can I put things like fish sticks, etc. on them?** A: My experience with silicone mats is that they hold odors. If you are going to use these for delicate macarons I wouldn't bake something like fish on them. I have 8 silicone mats. I have a couple that smell cinnamonny from cookies and a couple that I used for things that have have a more pungent smell.
