One flickered and went out in the first week but I had a spare. Now it is less than a year and all of them have failed. This is in a part time house, so rarely used. Put one in, it was bright and great, lasted 3 weeks, then it dimmed to 1/10th the brightness, then it started flickering, then it died. So I put in a second one, exact same thing - about 3 weeks, dimmed, flickered, dead! Don't waste your money these are cheap. My halogens last 6-8 months.
