There is also a #28174 that is listed as fitting it.** A: I purchased this item for a 2011 GLK 350, 4 matic with the AMG package....with 20" wheels. Not sure about your SL550. I recommend you contact the closest dealership and verify the fit before you buy. **Q: what is the Radius ball seat size of this item (mcgard 28017), is R12, R13 or R14 ?** A: I would not recommend to buy this product. It was listed to fit my car and the bolts were so long that I nearly damaged my car. It is completely useless now. I would not trust them ever again. But to answer your question, the size was suppose to be R14. Amazon states it does not fit but it's incorrect. They are the correct fitment. I did quite a bit of research verifying before I purchased. The bolt size is M14, 1.5 thread pitch and 1.5" length or 45mm. I removed the lug nuts and compared the lock and the lug nut itself.
