I've never worked with a silicone mold and didn't know it needed to be cut, so PLEASE make sure you cut it like the instructions say, otherwise you're not going to get this guy out. I cut mine more than 3/4 because I was worried about the top getting stuck, poked the wick hole, and it worked perfectly. I used a hair tie on the top and bottom to hold it in place, poured my wax, let it cool a bit, then stuck it in the freezer (wouldn't recommend but I couldn't wait any longer to see this adorable gem) and took it out with total ease and zero issues..The inside is now stained with green dye but I'm sure that's from the dye I used and isn't a product issue and I know it won't affect my next candle. The final product came out so cute!! I am in love. I can't wait to make a bunch with reds and whites.. I am hoping to be able to get a bunch made so I can include them in my packages to my customers for their candle orders. I know they'll love them just as much as I do.Edit: The staining from the dye I used had absolutely no effect on the next candle I made in a different color.
