And it is expensive. But I justified the price by Merpa's reputation for having "colored" flatware that was of such a high quality you can safely clean them in the dishwasher. I've had the flatware (and serveware) for around 5 months and it is heavily discolored. I've been in contact with the manufacturer and they've advised me to use stainless steel polish. Hopefully that works because they look awful now, but I did not expect to have to polish this flatware. Very disappointing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely placesetting. But considering my wife insists on having 8 sets of flatware (for family gatherings and such), there's NO WAY I'm dropping nearly $1,600 for spoons, forks, and knives.Again, spectacular flatware.
