It is too small for the opening on my 1998 Prowler. I had to leave the old hatch installed and stalled this one right over top; it fit right inside the old one but still allows 30 amp cable and plug head to work. Product description as far as dimensions is wholly inaccurate. I would have returned it but was doing a lot of repairs and make ready for a trip and didn't have time. It's a good thing I managed to get it to work or I would have sent it back at some point. I suspect it fits fine on newer travel trailers but not on my old camper.
