It's excellent, dependable.It's now December and I've the same 2 x Allmax AAA alkaline batteries in for the last 5 months! This 4.5 lumen pen is used by medical professionals - my doctor has one. For me, it doesn't dazzle, but produces a 3000K soft light making pleasant to illuminate the house when everyone is asleep. It's beautifully made and well balanced in my hand.The pen's pocket clip works well, but can be detached. The pen's aircraft grade aluminium is excellent so the pen will last a very long time. I've had many pen lights, but this is among the very best. I might buy their smaller M6-Mini.
