Review: Very rigid and moves easily - I purchased this for use with my Fanatec DD1 F1 and v3 pedals, and am extremely happy with the setup. I get no flex from anywhere and was able to bolt on my setup with ease. I play on PC in my room as well as on PS4 in the living room, so having a setup I could move between rooms was desireable. I originally started with the DD wheel stand to do this, which while incredibly rigid was NOT easy to move. I picked this up, and couldn't be happier. The casters roll smoothly and lock without any drama to create a stable setup in either room. Anyone can push it around, even on our carpet. There are a couple small areas I think could be improved, though no deal-breakers. When resting your foot between races I missed having a floorboard level with the pedals. Your feet go to the ground, which I did not like. Also, I didn't like their provided mounting location for a handbrake, which didn't satisfy my desire to match my street car's positioning. I modified both of these items which you can see in the pics attached to my review. I added an extra pedal tray to create a "full floorboard" feeling between the pedals and the seat, which lets you step in and out - this bolted right on with no modifications (you'd need to order a replacement pedal tray or have access to one to do this). I also used an additional shifter mount (purchasable separately) to create the more street-car style hand-brake mount. I did need to modify the mount slightly to do this. With those mods, I think it's near perfect, but even out of the box it's one of the nicest rigs I've seen.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this unit fold at all for storage?**
A: No, this is a sturdy one piece rig that does not fold up unless you wanted to remove some bolts. It does come with casters for rolling, though.

**Q: How high is the base of the seat off the ground with casters on?**
A: Without the moving platform the bottom of the seat is at 10 inches, and the top of the side cushon is at 16 inches

**Q: Will this rig come in a ups truck or a semi that way i know what to look for when i buy it?**
A: UPS truck delivered my rig.  Large box, item nicely packaged and needs assembly, but easy to put together.

**Q: Can this handle a Fenetec DD2?**
A: I haven't tried it personally, but I am certain this cockpit is more than capable of exceeding your expectations! The wheel mount does NOT flex and will probably marry-up without issue. I am moving to a "DD" in 2020 and will update this post when I make the switch.

I love it very sturdy. It’s my husband but I love using it. I am 4 11” so I have to pull it all the way forward but my husband has no issues. It fits perfect in tight spaces too. I think it’s a great price too.

### ⭐⭐ Decent cockpit, terrible seat

Simply not engineered for adults. The first major issue lies in the fact that the seat mounts so low that no matter how much one adjusts everything to include the pedal plate, the majority of your thighs will never touch the seat which means 100% of you leverage needed to operate the pedals must come from the butt. Had the seat bottom been engineered with a downward angle in the back, it would be much more supportive. Next up is the combination of materials used in the seat's reclining adjustment mechanism. Its ALL pop metal and despite being barely used and babied when in use, either the cogs on the seat or the locking mechanism stripped out which there is no fix for. I imagine it'd be fine for someone 120 pound or lighter but at 190, it'll strip out no matter how much one tries to take care of it. In conclusion, I'd give the cockpit itself a 7 and the seat a 0. Therefore a 2 overall. Something that's built to fail like this should NOT be in this price bracket! For $900 the unit should come with a seat riser and a more robust seat or at least offer the unit with a better seat at a premium from the factory.
