I have used other scrubs to shave as they are very moisturizing.** A: Our line of organic brown sugar scrubs may work better because these are Dead Sea salt scrubs and since it is salt based, it can cause a stinging sensation on newly shaven skin. If using our Dead Sea salt scrubs, then exfoliate first, rinse off all the salt granules and then shave. Do a small patch of skin first to make sure there is not stinging or irritation. TIP: When using any scrub, exfoliate first before shaving to open up the pores for a closer shave. **Q: Can you use it for your bikini area?** A: I have. This scrub has smaller salt crystals than others I've used.
