Had to purchase a pack of 2 because the single packs were not available at the time.** A: The seemed to stay fresh for a really long time. We placed the leftovers from the open packet in a mason jar with a lid, and they were fine months later. Please note, we are in a dry climate, and your results might be different in an area with higher humidity. **Q: What kind of starch is used? I have a family member who gets an itchy rash when she eats any corn. I need to know all of the ingredients, in detail.** A: The side of the package list the ingredients as "wheat flour, starch". So no way to know what type of starch that is. Forty years ago I would have said it would definitely be potato starch - corn isn't native to Europe of course - but in today's international world who knows.
