I first tried using some cheap netting draped over garden canes, but this was untidy and allowed butterflies to lay through the netting.This fitted perfectly over my 4ft (122cm) raised beds (see pics) and once the butterfly season is over and the plants are more robust I can take it down. There are tags in the corners so I connected to hooks screwed into the raised beds, rather than using the metal pegs provided. The netting also acts as a sun shade, wind-break and should protect crops from heavy rain and hail.I was impressed by the quality, but only time will tell how it handles the weather and the sun over the years. I have not yet tried folding the frame back into the bag - there are instructions on the companies website, but not with the item itself. I don't think it will be a problem.I have now bought a second frame. This one sagged slightly as the frame on one end was slightly twisted, but was easily fixed with a garden cane. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps the birds off! *by M***3 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 August 2017* I used to use netting until I saw a blackbird with some stuck in its throat so I got this instead.It has kept the birds off my strawberries without harming them, first year I've had enough strawberries to actually eat them from a bowl! Very expensive strawberries but better than shop bought ones and I suppose it'll pay for itself in a few years! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ pop up cage *by M***1 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 August 2016* I bought this because my veg were getting eaten by numerous creatures and I wasn't getting anywhere. I was amazed how easy it was when it popped up, absolutely brilliant. It is quite a size so I have got quite a lot under. The rain gets to the plants so that is no problem. I am thinking about getting a larger one for next year. I would have lost my veg most likely if I had not come across this.
