BitspowerG1/4" Air Exhaust Fitting, Matte Black

This is a simple spring loaded push button that opens the valve. Since the air in the loop goes to highest point, this should be installed at the highest point so you can let the air out. Unfortunately, I did not know this when building my loop and this device became useless for me. Now I just use it as the fill point cap for my loop, since it’s easier to remove this hand tight fitting than the Allen caps. I also ordered the water exhaust for drain port, and that actually works better than a valve for tight spaces. Also of this is your first loop like me, make sure drain port is lower than any other component, otherwise you will have a hard time draining and flushing your loop. Thanks for reading and YMMV.

I have a large loop that takes forever to fill. I'm a fan of occasional maintenance and put two of these in the loop at about 1/3 and 2/3 of the loop. It saves my pump a ton of trouble pushing air all the way through to the res and saves a ton of trouble when tapping bubbles out of the loop (set them at a high point). They don't feel cheap. They have a decent weight to them and the pressure it takes to activate the bleed is a nice satisfying clicking-pressing motion with not too much or too little resistance.Before this I was using Koolance drain port valves with the removable lid, which are great when draining the loop but when you're just looking to bleed some air out, they work but spill quite a bit. These plugs are beautiful, save you cleanup, and (to my experience) reliable.Just my opinion, but if you're looking to match a nickel finish and not bright chrome, go with Black Sparkle. Their bright chrome is very light and didn't mesh well with a straight nickel or stainless steel finish.

Made my life much easier when filling my loop. Wish I found this sooner. I used it with a distro plate and it got rid of any bubbles quickly.

Form and functionality. The BitsPower dragon logo looks great! Diamond cut outer edge makes for easy assembly and removal. Easy to use, looks great!

Reliable and good quality. Very solid, but the downside is it makes pushing the valve a bit hard and sometimes I get scared with how much downward pressure I am using just to activate the release valve.

Bought these fittings to have on hand for my new loop I am going to be doing in the near future, better to have more than what I need than not enough! LOL

I needed a way to get air into the system without spilling liquid during filling. And this worked out very well. Looks nice too.

Works as advertised, nice and easy to remove air if mounted at the right place.

Does what I expected and doesn’t leak. Very overpriced though
