I can fit two in each slot and they are individually simple to remove but also firmly enough held that nothing falls out if I hold it upside down. Time will tell if it holds up, but seems of pretty decent quality, and the pockets are sewn, not plastic inserts. Business card / ID slot on the outside is a little small, standard business card sticks out of the top of it.
