Motion sensing is very good, the moment we enter the kitchen, the light gets switched on and 40+/- 2 seconds of no activity, the light turns off.However, sometimes when we stand in front of the stove without much of movements, it turns the light off, meaning does not detect small movements, detects only when we actually walk around, move to the sides or wave at the sensor.
