Ordered large that fits loose for my mom's petite hips; a medium might be better but will keep the large in case she has to wear a diaper. The elastic in the groin area isn't stiff and placing an overnight pad fits/sticks to the inner bottom. Ordered two since one may not last long since the material doesn't look durable to last. Protection level may work since the bottom area is well covered.
